Top E sounding thin

Gave my new baja a first gig last night and it performed great apart for one issue. The top E string just sounds thinner than the rest? Any ideas apart from going up a gauge? Raisebit a bit?

Keep the treble on the amp at 12oclock or less, use the rhythm pup more, an overwound bridge will make it beefier on the high E, back off the vol and tone knob on the tele a tad. Just a couple thoughts, no expert here.

I usually have the treble backed a lot on the amp, and have a beefy bridge pup. The rest of the strings sound fine

Tried a long cable, listening from far out in the room, adjusting the amp's position or put it up on a stand, etc?

Check that its seated in the nut properly and that the string saddle is solidly set.

Sometimes too much stuff like Chapstick can deaden the resonance, too.
