Assorted Tele Trivia
Just for fun:
Studio ace and Wrecking Crew Alumni Tommy Tedesco played the "Twilight Zone" theme (opening theme and credits) on a Tele. He also played the "Green Acres" theme on a Tele with a Maestro Fuzz pedal. Teles were really prevalent in the '60s session scene, and their tone is easily identifiable on many recordings from that era. I bet that's even a Tele on the "Get Smart" theme, as well (probably Tedesco again)! Dennis Budimir (Wrecking Crew) played great Tele licks all over The Partridge Family's records, as well. The Tele is just such a unique and wonderful sounding axe, regardless of the context it's used in! 8) Heather |

Thanks!
I love little tidbits like this! Keep 'em coming. And I've NOT forgotten about those 70s Fender Catalogs. I have to hook up with my brother and meet him at his storage unit, something we've just not had time to do during the holidays. I'll get there!!
