Some light GAS
I walked into my local guitar shop yesterday with no intension of purchasing anything, but a 50's RI *** tele with a bigsby caught my eye.
Sticker said £1000. The guitar had been dropped and had a rarther large scratch across the back, and a couple of other dings - there was also some slight indentations on some of the frets, but I knew I could fix that I asked the salesman how much he'd take for it with the damage - "£680" he said. I promptly left. Called back in the afternoon and offered him £300, which he accepted :D so.... ![]() http://www.solar.myby.co.uk/misc/andy/newtele2.jpg http://www.solar.myby.co.uk/misc/andy/newtele1.jpg |

The Ibanez is my baby; "archy". Twas my first decent electric guitar, and it's still a great rock guitar.
The bigsby tele is just awesome - I can't stop playing it at the moment. It's got a "chunkier" warmer sound that my other tele. Love it! |
