Routing on Am Std. Ash Teles?
Hi all,
Could anybody out there with an American Standard Ash-bodied tele answer this question for me: What is the routing like on the neck pickup? If I'm correct, I think the alder Am Std. tele bodies come with a humbucker route under the guard. Is this correct? If so, do the ash bodies follow the same routing pattern, or do they have the traditional tele neck pickup route? Thanks very much for the help, -Sean |

Routing...
I have a 1999 American Ash tele, and the routing for the neck pickup is that of a regular front pickup made like the old days. Hope this is helpful.

From 2000 All USA standards have humbucker routings!
Except offcourse vintage style guitars!
I guess the early 2000 photo is old stock body. Also USA Deluxe share the same humbucker routings as the standard (same CNC program?) |
