Highway 1 to Esquire (questions)
I'm thinking of doing a simple conversion of my Highway 1 to an Esquire... some questions:
- If the neck pup is removed, how will this impact the tone as it stands now when I'm only playing through the bridge pup? - Anyone know where I could find a white or white pearloid pickguard with 8 screws? - Switching: What are my options? - Anything else I need to or should consider? Think I'm gonna go with the original pup for starters since I love the twangy sound of the bridge pup in this now. As always, thanks.... and happy holidays to all!!!!! |

1st thing I have always noticed is the increase in harmonics all over the neck.
There are lots of places to find pguards. Ebay Warmoth WD Callaham and many more.
