With that big fat goofy headstock it's definitely not my cup of tea.

Hey, the store's in Japan, so they could have used one of those online translation engines like Ishsibashi does or they are taking a stab at English on their own. |

How does that work?
Jaguars and Telecasters have a different scale length.
Don't think you would have much if you put a Jaguar neck on a Telecaster body. I suppose you could build a Jaguar style neck with the proper scale length...and that is surely what has been done here. Unless I am wrong again. Merry Christmas |

Messina's neck was a Jazzmaster, but I can see why they'd make the mistake, the necks look so similar. It also looks like this neck was made specifically for the tele. Look at the fretboard overhang. On the eBay guitar it's square, like a Tele's. A normal Jazzmaster his rounded, like a Strat's.

I found this one on www.telecastergallery.com and it immediately won me over.
![]() I used to have an aversion to the big headstock's but I guess I'm over it now. I only recently saw the "Standing in the Shadow of Motown" film and kept trying to see what was going on with Messina's Tele. To me it's a good looking guitar.

I totally posted the link to the joe messina tele, like, a month ago. Copy cat.
They also have a JOhn Lennon tele, which I thought was pretty awesome. It's just like a standard-fat type tele, with a black mounting ring.

What I want to hear is a Tele with Jazzmaster pups and a 3 piece compensated brass, string through Tele bridge. Not unlike the Will Rayocaster, but without the angled bridge pup and bender.
