I spoke to Gordy this summer and he said . . .

The Spring show was the best turnout in years.

I didn't go to that one, but am attending this Saturday.

I say, if there's a guitar show in your town, you should go. A lousy guitar show is better than no show at all. They're so few and far between in North Georgia, I'm willing to travel out of state four hours to attend one. The past two years, I've flown to Dallas in April for the shows - TOTALLY worth it!

The Philly (Ft. Washington) guitar show is a GREAT
show. Vendors there were saying it's THE ONE to go
to. Always something to drool over.

I've driven the 8 hours to get there from Virginia
and was glad I did and will do it again...

Elviscaster will be in the house

Detroit's a nice town, especially their football team. See ya at the show. I'm looking for a vintage bridge for the Elviscaster. I'm the guy with the Do-wop haircut. Shel

I used to attend these religously...and picked up some great guitars and amps. I liked the show better when it was at the state fairgrounds..alot more "good stuff" seemed to be there.

I haven't really done much buying, selling or trading since it moved to Dearborn.

Hey Shel,
The two best places to look for your bridge would be JK Lutherie and Gordy's booth. They both have lots of parts..good luck...

Yep, bought straplocks and some other parts from Gordy and a book from JK. The fellow at JK mentioned that Blackguard books will be shipping out this week. These exhibitors were the hit of the show.
