? Thinline

Found this one on the 'Bay. Seller says he thinks it’s a MIJ Fender Thinline (its not). From a distance it looks like a Mahogany '69 Thinline RI but then there's the odd top loader bridge, neck bucker, toggle switch (instead of slide switch), non skunk stripe neck, W shaped string tree, non vintage style tuners, "Made in Japan" neck plate with 7 digit serial number, etc.

Just curious if anyone here knows what is it as its being bid up into same price range as an actual MIJ '69 RI with 3 days still to go.

Oh yeah, in this headstock photo you can clearly see where the old decal was before the Fender decal (just Fender no Telecaster) was added.

That's a 70's Ibanez. I've seen both the bridgeplate and the lipstick bridge pickup on them before - the bridge looks like a Jaguar or Bigsby Tele roller bridge because they did duty on both.
