A Fuzzy Special

Heres one that might make Fuzzy's heart beat a liddo faster...early 80s MIJ 50s Tele, with the somewhat rare ash 2-tone sunburst finish, '57 style.

Granted, it does have a MOTS guard, but that could be stripped off rite quick! :D

Not so fast. My Miss Daisy is a MIM sunburst. I've been through every pickguard (the vanity!). Black is ok, but I find myself going back to white. I think it's a better transition between a the dark body and the light maple fingerboard.

Now a burst, black guard, and rosewood fretboard is a bad looking tele. With overwound pups its dark inside and out. But then we're getting pretty far from 1957.

the burst on my MIM's is pretty pathetic in comparison to those pictures.
