I ordered my book the day it was announced on this page. Does this mean that my book is more likely to be in the first 3200 than if I would have ordered later?

I'm asking because I live in two cities (college and HOME). I will be leaving my college city around Dec. 21st (which should leave plenty of time to recieve the book before I leave if its in the first batch).
I only come back to college on Jan 9th so hopefully I won't recieve it between those dates.

Also, I can't wait to look at it!!!!!!! :D

Thanks,
Joey

Edit: Are the serial numbers on the JK Lutherie website up to date? I was wondering because if they are that would mean that only 462 books have sold. Hopefully thats not the case.. If it is, this summer when I start working again I'm ordering another one if they are still available.

Joey the books contained in this first shipment are from 0001 to 3200 (taken out the gift copies sent out to contributors, friends and family). If your book number is in that range you will get it soon. If you ordered a book in the 3201-5500 range, it will take another 15 days to arrive (the second and last container will get to Ohio around Dec 15th). The list is updated daily I think. 5500 is a lot of books but I hope it will sell as soon as people start spreading the word and dealers/shop have them on display...

It's not too late! If you e-mail JKLutherie with a number below 3200, they will get you an early book.

    Hey Fuzzy

    Hey Fuzzy
I'm proud to be on the opposite page as you, buddy. I guess Nacho used us to capitalize off our magnetic sex appeal.
Sure is an honor to be in his incredible book.

Baños conceived of the book in 2001, and finished it after three painstaking years of work. He self-edited and self-published it, and all proceeds from its sale are being donated to Intermon Oxfam (www.oxfam.org/eng) to fund Aquaria, a water-supply development program for Ethiopia.

Specific details on the progress of the project and its evolution are given through a direct link on the Oxfam website so that buyers and contributors to the book will know exactly where the money is being used and what for.
WOW__ Thats' really HEAVY DUTY stuff!

NACHO--Congrats + On finding such a clever way to help out your fellow man!

I gotta get off my DUFF and purchase mine soon!

Great pictures of legendary Blackguard players in action abound in the book—players including Redd Volkaert, Waylon Jennings, John Beland, Jim Weider, Bill Hullet, G.E. Smith, Keith Richards, Danny Gatton, Roy Buchanan, Jimmy Bryant, Bruce Springsteen, Arlen Roth, Vince Gill, Mike Stern, Marty Stuart and others. There are forewords by Volkaert, Weider, Beland and Ole Fuzzy, plus special contributions by Hullet and luthier David Eichelbaum.
The whole line of Tele icons! This is unbelievable! :D

The 10lb+ books have longer sustain.

    Under 10lb, more twang.

Either would look classy and sassy on a cofee table in my new house's living room. A housewarming gift I gotta buy for myself.
