Yeah, not my cuppa tea, either, Pete, nor would I call it a tle, but I certainly wouldn't make any hard & fast rules. It sure is pretty and wonderfully built and I'll bet it would sound wonderful in your hands. IME we tend to play the bejabbers out of the guitars we love...

Eric--air-tight is right. The neck is thin but wider. 16" radius. Fun sometimes, but my fingers usually want my 9.5 radius guitars. Radii? Whatever.

When I need humbucker stuff, it fits the bill perfectly for me.

What?

Please do not take offense to this but, that is not the Halle Berry of Tele's. It looks more like the Don Knotts of Tele's. For what it's worth, I don't even consider that a TELECASTER. Of course this is only my worthless opinion, not meant to offend anyone.

Hey JazzGuitar!

Just wonderin' . What's the weight on your Halle ? I played one several years ago and it felt like 10 lbs. easy....guess I'm more of a Calista Flockhart type.

Great fun thread

To all those who have said:

"please don't take offence, but...", and

"it's not a Tele...", etc..

then be assured, I'm not offended and respect your opinions. This thread has been great fun and I've laughed until I've cried at some of your posts.

As I said earlier, the comparison of beautiful women and Telecasters is dangerous ground because beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder.

I was jamming with my buddy last night and boy did we make our Teles twang. I doubt if you could get that sound from the Nik Huber guitar but I'll bet it makes a fine noise for certain types of music.

So far, we had 43 posts (OK, some of them are my replies!) and over 700 views so the subject of or favourite guitar and the goddess Halle Berry cetainly stirred the juices of this forum.

Keep it coming and thanks again.

Peter
