looks cool, and the price seems right . . .

but man, you could drop a baby into one of those f-holes! what's up with that? At first I thought it was a trick of the camera but no -- those things are enormous. strange . . .

That's my kind of Tele mod! I'd have to refinish it, though. Them faux f-holes are just grotty! How about a nice Gretsch ORANGE?!? OK, maybe the dark purpley brown of an old Tennesean...

I drop a couple of bills for some strings. It usually improves the sound quite a bit. Just MHO.

-nice score!-

make sure....

...you buy some Tusq saddles by Graph-Tech for that one. It'll improve the playability like you can't believe.

First thing I'd do is get rid of those faux F-holes. They're way to big for a Telecaster.

I hate to be a grouch....

But... The B50 is a "licensed by Bigsby", not an actual Bigsby "made" piece. It is similar to the B5, which is a Bigsby "made" unit.

Well it's shipping out this afternoon, so hopefully I'll get it next week sometime. I am aware that the Bigsby is an asian variant. No big deal. As long as it's functional and the pickups are actually wired up and make sound I'll be happy. I think the finish is weird, but I don't hate it. We'll see how I feel about a refin after I've had it for a while. Stay tuned!
