Noel Gallagher's Tele

I'm really wondering what kind of telecaster that is noel uses here. Seems to be a 60's model but it has a humbucker on the neck position. Somebody knows??

Here are 2 pics:

the bridge plate

I don't know, that bridge plate sure looks whacky on the photos. I can't figure out what kind of bridge/pickup he's got on that thing. Anyone have better pictures of Mr. G's Telecaster?

That looks like it.
For a good view of it, just watch the music video for Keep What Ya Got by Ian Brown, which has Noel on guitars.

Sure is. But have you seen the price of them? It put me off, even though I'm a HUGE Oasis fan...

Me and 4 mates went to see 'em in Southampton and it was really disappointing. They didn't perform badly, just the sound was absolutely disgraceful, crowd was full of chavs and they played only about 1hr 15. Not really worth 40 squid!!

This picture of me sums things up

Saw them at Wembley before it was pulled down - incredible. Then at Finsbury Park they were again out of this world. At Knebworth they were monster.

But this year at the Milton Keynes bowl I have to agree with you about the crap sound system. Oasis played great but the venue was just too big & open for the tiny PA. You could TELL it was going to be poor as soon as you looked at the kit.

However, their main support band, The Zutons, were a big plus. Great set - made me go and buy the album!

Yeah I agree. We had The Coral who were great and a band from Chicago called The Redwalls, who were REALLY good. Kinda retro Stonesy/Motown...it was good.

The headstock decal is the post-1967 style, his tele could be anything from 1967 to 1979, or a re-issue from Mexico or Japan.

Those speakers at the outdoor festival are Nexo Geo-S line arrays, which are usually quite nice. Don't let the small size fool you. Looks like they didn't bring enough kit for the size of the outdoor venue though.

I saw Oasis at an outdoor gig around Detroit in the early summer and I thought we could use more volume. Sound wasn't atrocious, just could have been louder.

I was talking to Bill who is the owner yesterday at the guitar show here in Dallas, and he said that Noel used one. After having it for one day, I can tell you it is worth every penny. 8)
