No, but it looks cool as hell. Anything that deviates from the norm on a guitar, I'm in favor of. It looks to be simple yet would serve it's purpose. I'd put it on a tele just to see how it sounded and worked.

Ah ........... the Stetsbar.........
Seems like it was discussed here a while back. The price ($329) seems high considering you can now get the complete Fender "F" Bigsby kit for around $140 and have what I think is a better looking guitar.
A plus for the Stetsbar is the fact that it required no drilling so you could switch it to another guitar ........... no harm ........... no foul.

Looks good on the Gibbos
I didn't like the fact that you need to shim your neck on a Tele. Then your pickup sticks out and looks skinny and weird, and your neck is flying off at some strange angle...
but - on the Gibbos it looked pretty cool. And apparently doesn't require any mods. Too bad I don't have a Gibson in need of a trem (or $329 to spare) |

It is kinda out there. If I ever went with a trem it would be a bigsby. But I doubt I will ever install one as I forget to use them anyway lol.

Sheesh! If you need a trem and a tele sound so badly...
Why not just shove a Rio Grande "Stelly" or a n HD "STP"
into a Strat and be done with it? Like a friend's professor is fond of saying: " We don't need to re-invent the wheel here, people!" ![]()
