American pickguard vs. MIM Pickguard

Hi there!

I just got a beautiful sunburst Standard Tele. I ordered a replacement pickguard through ebay, but when it got here it didn't fit the holes which had been used by the pickguard which came on the guitar. Also it did not have the two holes to hold the pickup in place.

Does anyone know where I can get a perloid pickguard for a standard Tele online? I checked pickguards.com and they didn't have one in that pattern.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

P.S. I'm in love with this guitar. It's certainly the finest instrument I own out of the 4 I have!

Thanks!
Jeff

Warmoth makes almost any pickguard that you could imagine, and at a better price than most...

However, they state on their site that there hole patterns are for MIA Fenders, and that the hole pattern for MIM Fenders may be different....

Most replacement parts are made to match MIA specs, so you may just have to plug the old holes and redrill....

Bump

Anyone else know of any places that specifically sell MIM pickguards?
