Anybody know of The Two Dollar Pistols?

They're from the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill NC area. I've been watching them for a few years. A great country rock band. Their current guitarist is Scott McCaull. I saw them tonite in a small club at about 10% capacity. They rocked out - a great gig seen by a small but relatively appreciative crowd. I really like the style of the guitarist - expressive but always tasteful. They used to have fiddle and pedal steel but they've since streamlined down to vox/acoustic, guitar/backing vox, bass/backing vox, and drums. So there's no steel player or fiddler to share leads with. Just means a great guitar solo every song.

Oh yeah, gear report on TDP's

Scott plays what looks like a '52 Reissue - or a real olde Tele. Thru, I believe, a Fender amp. (Had to put in some Tele Content - and keep the post ticker rolling so I can make 'meister some day)
