My Daughter and "Her" Guitars...

The indoctrination has begun. She now LOVES my guitars and grins from ear to ear everytime I pick one up

(click for bigger versions)

She'll be playing herself in no time :)

All four guitars are partscasters.

The one she's strumming is this one:

The Esquire is this one:

You sir, are a lucky man! What a beautiful little girl! Nice gutiars also!

Isn't it just amazing when they discover music? From the smile on her face, she loves it!

When my first grandson was born, whenever he was fuzzy, I would play the Gordon Lightfoot song, "Beautiful". As soon as I hit that first major 7th chord, he would melt! He's 5 now and whenever he hears a maj 7th chord, he stops dead in his tracks! Pretty funny.

Now, I have three grandsons who love to play papas guitars. They know which ones they can touch and which ones not to. The little ones are 2 and 3 and each one treats the guitar with great respect.

I just love pictures like that. Thanks for posting.

There's a kid in those pictures?

KIDDING!

That is an adorable little girl you got there!

Now bein raised on a diet of great parts casters like that, you'll never get away with given her Squier as her first guitar! Your gonna have to either ante up for a cool partscaster (just like daddy's), or pop some good coin for a brand new 52RI. Anything less would be child abuse!!

Hmmmm.... I better give her a good "talking-to" now to nip this one in the bud.

:D

Thanks for the comments everyone. She's really great, and makes my day every day.

She has good taste. I would have picked the Butterscotch Blonde to strum too.

I love it!

The last one is my fave. She looks like she just got done playing a blistering solo.

Careful not to take too many pictures of her. She might forget to play the guitar and become a singer!

She's beautiful, here's one of mine! Warning Tokai Strat Pix

Here's one of my daughter. Nothing funnier than to see her sitting on the throne with the Mus. Friends catalog!
She's almost 4 now and has asked for a red Squier strat for Christmas. She's been singing (in tune) since 9 months old and thinks everyone's parents play music. When she was 2 she was playing at the playground with another girl (who's parents were there). The father left to go to work and my daughter turned to the little girl and said, "where's your daddy's guitar?" You gotta love them! All the best of everything to your daughter.

It took me getting her an MIJ mini-Tele to entice her release of my Custom Shop Gatton Sig. Tele
