General impressions on squire teles
Hey folks, I know this is a broad subject but was wondering about any opinions on squire teles. My son had a squire strat that went down hill quick after a couple of years. The price is right on the "fat" squire tele with a humbucker at the neck that I'm looking at on ebay. I currently have a nice 72 thinline RI that sounds great but makes my HR Deville feedback when I crank up the drive channel so I'm thinking of selling it and getting a solid body. It's too bad, I really like the thinline.
Thanks, Stevie |

When you find a good Squier, they are usually really good. QC isn't always the top priority, it seems, so I'd play a bunch of 'em. Have you tried tinkering with the current setup first?
