How to route a telecaster?

Hey guys, ive wanted a tele for a while, but i haven't found one yet that is perfect for me, for a good price. So, ive also wanted to build a guitar for a while, so i think i will merge the too. I will probably make it from basswood or alder. I have the blue prints for it. One thing i cant figure out though, is how to route the tunnels for the wiring from the pickups. Any help would be appreciated.

Wiring from the neck pickup: long drill bit, drill from the neck pocket. From the bridge: a suitable drill bit.

Just be sure to hit the control cavity:-) I tend to use the same long drill bit for both wire channels while I'm at it. But as always while working with any kind of power tools, be careful.
