I actually find it kind of cool! Sort of a German Steve Morse model.

It's Franken-Tele!

Just in time for Halloween too. I think it's a great idea for incorporating some Gretsch style, mult-toggle & knob wiring. For some reason, I think I'd stack them end to end instead of one on top of the other. One long control strip. Hell, it's like having a built in mixing board channel strip!

That's very cool. I bet you can get some real cool sounds from it.

Verrrrrrry interrrrrresting.....but,

it would make twangin' nearly impossible, seeing how tough it would be to get one's palm and fingers down near the bridge to dampen or "claw." Looks like you could only pick north of the middle pickup. My guess is that the builder/player was doing a metal or prog rock thing based on the design.

Still, it is eye-catching in a strange way. Kind of like seeing aperson with two noses or something!

i think it just looks too cluttered. the thing I like about Tele's is there simplicity, and that thing is far from it. It looks like a frankenstein monster (although I bet it does get some killer sounds)

Exactly what I thought - the Steve Morse thing, not necessarily the cool thing. ;)

Yo, GLS

Somehow, I thought the "plop" would be more indicative of what you thought of this piece of......er, alder.

Props to your bad onamonopoeiatic self!

Whatever, I think it's cool. Different strokes for different folks. Put that in the hands of someone famous, and everybody will be gassing for one.

Here's a guy with an unusual Tele. Yea, he should throw that piece of junk off a bridge, who does he think he is modifying his guitar like that?

All in good fun, Dana.

I have no problem with anyone's guitar of choice, as long as it inspires them to play music.

The joke was just there to make ;)

Headstock?

Is that a Strat headstock? Even though it is described as a "mint MIA Special"? Mint?????

Not being so good with my spoken German, I thought I'd try one of the freebie on-line German-English translation sites. The results are almost as funny as the guitar itself.....

Attention!! A real bargain

Mint Fender Telecaster series of Special in "maggot meant into USA". "Staggered" orig. Fender Mechanics, new neck form with " V - Shape" = more playable. 3 xs Seymour Duncan "Screaming Deamon" humbuckers. Guitar was bought and hardly played. Special Pickup switch positions possible, Sound individually adjustable (12 Sounds) makes a real powerful steam hammer pressure. Special steel bridge with integrated humbucker, pearl blow board. Includes strap, suitcase, cable.
New price: 1,960 €
Hmmm... - not sure about the 'maggot meant into USA'... but I like the sound of the 'makes a real powerful steam hammer pressure'..... and the 'pearl blow board' - sounds like a good name for an adult content forum.....

I'm intrigued by the 'New price = 1,960 €' - can you REALLY buy a monstrosity like this 'new'?
