The Real Deal
I was interested in the tele deluxe with the humbuckers so I went back to guitar center to play it again, but then I saw it...real deal sunburst telecaster. I loved it. Nothing but twang, especially with the bridge pickup. Easy on the eyes and the wallet. I'm looking forward to becoming a true tele owner within the next few weeks, I've got to get one.

As an owner of 5 Teles ('72 Custom RI, Fender Standard, Tele Special, Squier Tele Custom, Squier Standard), I suggest you also consider the '72 Tele Custom RI. With the neck 'bucker and the bridge single coil it's a "best of both worlds" axe. It is my main Tele, because it has the widest array of sounds of any Tele, it looks super cool and hey, Keith played one for like 20 years!!! Give it a try, anyway.
