It certainly does play well; compound radius is very easy on the left... the combination of the chambered ash body and the specially voiced pups (fender says they handle gain a lot better and are very warm) through my Dr. Z are heavenly

Congrats. I've been very happy with mine since I got it maybe 6 months ago.

I think the pickups are voiced a bit warmer and the chamber makes the guitar extra open and airy sounding.
