gotta love options--Warmoth Pro 'side adjust' necks?

I'm in the process of selecting the neck for my partscaster...I'm still debating whether to go with the 7.25" radius or a compound 9-16r...but that part i can figure out

What I'm wondering about is the 'side-adjust' truss mechanism on the Warmoth 'Pro' necks...Anyone have any experience with this model?

Thanks for any input!

I have a little experience. I used a Warmoth Pro neck on the Ferden Telacaster XII conversion. The truss rod has a regular heel end truss rod nut. The side adjust mechanism lets you adjust the neck further without taking off the pickguard or removing the neck. I think it's a great idea.
I have another Warmoth Pro on order for a very special project I will be building . I needed a maple fret board neck with no skunk stripe and no headstock plug. The Warmoth Pro seemed to meet those requirements.

When I first got my Warmoth Pro I skipped the step where you reset the neck adjustment prior to installation. I thought I had a hump around the 17th fret.

I later removed the neck and performed the "reset" step and it's all good now.

I like the side adjust

Works great...

I installed a Warmoth Pro style neck on my Page Tele Replica and have been very happy with it. Just go through the basic set up procedure and you're good to go... very easy, accurate adjustments... HTH

Best,
Tom
