old tele
I always keep an eye on this guys auctions, because he's in my area and sometimes he has cool stuff. I'm not an expert on old tele's so when i saw this oldie, i was suprised by the tone of the color. it reminds me alot of the newer MIM tele's with the red wine or whatever finish. nice guitar, but boy that starting bid is kind of tough.

Talk about pics that tell you nothing. If you didn't look at his other items and the manner in which they are photographed you'd think he is purposefully photographing this guitar to obscure any useful info. He may not be a red flag, but his pics are.
It doesn't make any sense to me. A dealer, even a pseudo one, should know basically what kind of pics and info they have to convey to have much validity trading a vintage Tele. Especially a 50s one. |
