I would like to add one more impression
In one Internet video country guitar lesson, I saw that country musicians ofter use delay pedal (100 milisec) with compressor to achieve more twang.
I tried that combination and I couldn's get descent sound.
Has anyone tried this combination?

I think that I will by that compressor, but I would be much hapier if someone of you guys give me some hint. It is not transparent, but it is quiet. I tried it on HH Tele from that shop, maybe it will squel with my MIM or MIA Tele?

I'm not familiar with the Nobels CO-2, but since you feel that it works well, and is of sturdy construction, it sounds like a good deal for only $40.

A compressor and delay should work well together, you just need to experiment with settings. I would just focus on getting a good sound first with the delay (and add the compressor later). Dial up a tone on your amp that you like, and turn your reverb down (if you have it). Try and set your delay time to be in rhythm with the song you are playing and use just a single repeat so you can hear the timing of the slapback better. I only use 1 or 1 1/2 repeats as a general rule. Remember that the repeats shouldn't be louder than the original note from the guitar, I like my slap to be about 1/2 of the original note. After you get a nice delay going, turn the compressor on and put on just enough compression that you know it's on. Set the comp. volume to about unity with the original guitar signal. Generally, with effects, less is more.

Good luck.
