Railroad Yapper Blues
I commute a few days a week for work to NYC on the Long Island Railroad (LIRR). If I miss my usual train, the next train invariably has this one particular fellow who travels with a companion. Somehow, they always sit in the car I'm in.
From the moment his butt hits the seat, he talks...and talks and talks and talks nonstop until the hour trip ends. He's not loud, his voice isn't unpleasant, but the constant droning makes it hard for those of us trying to sleep to get any. This happened again on Monday, and the result is my work of art below. Sung to the tune of your basic 145 blues with breaks, much like the Nyquil Blues someone posted here recently. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Quote:

You know - I'm reading the lyrics (nice stuff!), and grabbed my tele, and it occured to me - there's a TON of different ways to play this! Augh! I was trying to figure out what chords would go with what lines, and then the syllable count kept changing, and I knew why I wasn't a singer.
But then it occured to me - you can have 10 different guys pick up this song, tell them it's a 145 progression, and you'll get 10 different sounding songs written! So - anyone want to record a version for comparison? :)
