Hope ya like it?

P.S.... Try the longer of the two songs first.
The Lil Red Rooster song has a 2nd guitar... Theres a Strat that come's up onstage and joins in 1/3 of the way into the tune.
The Long one is all the TELE! Turn it way up so you can hear crowd response~

Don,

Excellent. I love it. Some very cool sounds, especially the second track.

What's your setup?

One problem though. I can't get to the buck cannon web site. Any thoughts?

Tom

hey thanks,

thats a 2000 squire affinity basswood and maple neck,
Seymours Broadcaster bridge and 5-2 tele neck,
The guitar is fast and resonate... It took a while to actually get over the fact that is a Squire and its so dang nice.. better then 4 MIA Teles here!

The Amp was a Deville on the Red HR Drive Channel
Drive 2-3 Master5-6 Reverb 2

Sorry ...about the Buck Cannon site I am still shopping for a host server???

Thanks agian,
Long Live Roys works!

The update models are exceptionally light due to the thinner body, not the use of basswood. MICs/CICs are alder and MIIs/CIIs are agathis.

Sorry...I put a Basswood aftermarket body on mine.
Mine never did have a thin body... it came with the same thickness as any MIA Tele... but badly warped very ugly!.

I play new & used Teles everywheer I Go trying to find a better one... It aint never going to happen this Tele is a part of me..
As far as tone rules go this whole TELE is Bass-ackwards anyways...(get it? :D ) I don't think TDPRI-ers will rush out and replace fine Fender MIA's for one of these toy teles ... but it just happened to work fer' me.

Let me be the first to say,

"WELCOME TO THE TDPRI"

Interesting.

“nocaster” is taken! More than happy to go undercover if that’s what folks would prefer! And, based on the current “Ole FUZZY/Fuzzy” debacle it seems one MUST register every single possible upper/lower-case combination of a handle to protect oneself! I think I’ll try and register as 1964, which is the handle I now normally go by on other forums anyway.

Yeah, I do a pretty excellent job over there, even if I do say so myself!

...Successfully registered “1964”, which at least nobody can readily hijack.

“Mine never did have a thin body…”

[Interesting.]

~Even more strange... it was white over Black...
I think it was due to the ugly warps that it was repainted to white before it left the factory?... It may have once been a MIA body to boot?

Thanks Nigel,
DM

If CII, it could well have been a substandard Standard body (solid agathis) – a Standard with an Affinity neck would not surprise me.

I’ve also seen strange CII hybrids, although I’ve never read of anyone outside Asia getting one of these. CII Squiers for the Asian market also seem to regularly feature plywood bodies.
