telesonic?-future collectable???

hi guys this is my first post,i'm thinking of putting a B5 horseshoe bigsby on a crimson telesonic, but i'm worried i'll ruin it's future value,as i understand not too many were made? but i really think it would add to the appeal of the guitar to me and i think it would blend right in,it's already got the gretsch look,so would it really harm the re-sale?
thanks

Its not collectable unless a limited amount of them were made like 250 or less. Its a Korean made guitar I wouldnt worry about modding it.

I don't know how many were made, I suspect it's a much bigger figure than anyone would think.
In any case, is it going to raise the value for you? If you play it and need the Bigsby and are intending to keep it, then go ahead. If you plan on making money on it in the future, then leave it alone.....although that still doesn't guarantee that it will ever have a collectible value.

Sorry for the mixup got it confused with another model its not Korean.

I still wouldnt worry about its collectability. If your really that worried buy another one to leave stock and mod the one you have.

I'm thinking--not collectible

It's a player, not a collector.

Doubt it will ever be.

Hack away at it, mate!

I love a good Bigsby.

Low-production numbers doesn't constitute collectibility. Otherwise we'd have $10,000 Tele and Strat Elites.

The Telesonic is a great guitar - sort of Fender's attempt to woo Gibson SG buyers. Good quality, with quality fttings. Those DeArmonds are cool. But it'll likely not entice too many SG buyers except those who like being different or don't care.

At least the Bigsby could be removed if a future owner decided to. It may actually marginally increase value if fitted right.

Choosing future collectibles is a crapshoot. Play it mod it and enjoy it..
