Jeff Senn guitars.....Wow!!

Stopped over to Jeff Senn's shop yesterday to buy a pickup. I made the mistake of plugging in one of his teles; it absolutely floored me! I don't know how he does it, but the guitar really sounded like the old ones.

Hmm...how to convince the wife...

Anybody else heard of him? Apparently, he's built guitars for Fogerty, Wallflowers, and a bunch of players around town.

must....have...one

My best friend is a close friend of Jeff's and has been raving about his guitars for awhile. My friend is a professional player and guitar tech for a lot of "heavy hitters," so I have no doubt that the Original Senns are extraordinary. I haven't had the pleasure of playing one myself, though.

I think Jeff's charging $1500 to $1600 at this point. Well worth it. He really knows how to make a tele sound old (ie a good old one).

Amazing guitars.[/i]
