Control Knob Idea For MIM Tele or Strat
I cut the centers out of some Mexican one peso coins & thought they would make a cool inlay in control knobs for a mim tele or strat because it has the Mexican symbol of the eagle w/snake. They're approx. 14mm dia.x 1.5mm thick & brass colored. These are pressed into the center of the coin with a nickel colored outside & easy to take out. Anyway, if somebody would like to try it just pm me & i'll send you two or three & i'll pay postage too if you'll post photos of the results.

Looks very cool.
There's a gut at the TeleModder's site doing control knobs that look like pistons, complete with mini O-rings for a bit of pinky traction. http://www.aimoo.com/forum/postview....readID=1381820 |

Ole Fuzzy nailed the idea in his reply. Basically, you'd just machine out a cavity the same dia. & thickness as the coin, or whatever you're inlaying so it'll be flush. Of course the knob needs to be flat on top.

Loves his Harleys, Loves his Teles He makes switch tips to match the controll knobs aswell, I think he makes stainless steel compensated saddles too, although I'm not sure. Seriously clever guy, and thoroughly nice too
