Anybody pick a Z-3 ?

I was wondering if anybody was picking a G & L Z-3 ? I just ordered one . It will be built with a light weight alder semi hollow body, ebony fingerboard, neck binding, body binding, graphite nut, white pearl pickguard, white pickup covers,Belair Green finish, locking machine heads and gun oil w/high gloss finish on the back of the neck and headstock..I was wondering what your thoughts on the Z-3 are?

I have one, actually a solid one. It's a very versatile guitar, kind of a swiss army knife. The bridge pu is not excactly llike a Tele bridge pu but you can make it twang.
The guitar sounds BIG.

And I agree with me (and Roel) completely! ;-) CS

1975 Guild Artist Award. :-) This one isn't mine (it's a '77), but it looks just like it:

I've played a number of high-end D'Aquistos/D'Angelicos and such over the years, and the AA "compares favorably." ;-) In fact, you can hear it here:

We now return you to your regularly scheduled Z-3 thread already in progess... hee. CS

I just ordered a Z-3

In Honeyburst, semi-hollow w/f-hole, and a Bigbsy. Yes, you can do that. It should take about 2 months to get to me.

I can't wait!

Thanks guys.

I've been "done" with G&L's for a while (for no other reason than I've had to sell them for other projects), and now I'm gassing for either an ASAT Z3 or an ASAT Deluxe.

Mmmmm...
