Light Ash Tele Special Edition
Has anyone any experience of the Light Ash Tele Special Editions?
http://www.fender.com/products/searc...tno=0265102521 .....I have only been able to find Light Ash Strats which look OK but I haven't yet been able to play one. This would be a first Tele (and what I REALLY want is a 52RI but can't afford the outlay right now). For the record, I have no idea if these are MIA. The real burning question is......this or a Highway 1? |

light ash
I played the light ash Tele last Tuesday at guitar center.
I didn't care for it at all. It just didn't feel good as far as playabillity, and the tone was fair. The Hwy 1 Teles are good guitars, I played one of those the same day. Good playabillity, and good tone. The Hwy 1 Texas Teles are higher priced. I hadn't played one of those I think the difference in price is the hotter pups in the Texas Teles. I have a Hwy 1 Strat that plays and sounds great. I hope to get Hwy 1 Tele some day. terry
