Maybe Kevin... not in TX...
Maybe Rob... not in TX... Maybe MJtele... dunno where he is... There are a number of builders on here... some better than others... Whether they are willing to do the work is another story... Best of luck.. 2 of the above three frequent the posts often...

welll......FWIW
I second the Brian Poe motion!!!!!!! I've seen about 7 or 8 of his Tele bodys .....He is absolutly "World Class" you will thank yourself everyday from now on if you base your next homebrew on a Brian Poe body....BTW all Fender parts and warmoth necks etc etc....line up perfectly with his body....thats worth mega $$$$for that alone.....

I just got a '54 Esquire Relic by Naked Body Guitars.
One piece Ash, beautiful grain. I am not sure how much the body weighs, but the entire guitar is about 6.75 pounds. It amazes everyone on how light she is. Sound? From HEAVEN. (HDV+, Fender C/S wiring). I'll have her at the TDPRI/LI jam next week. Body came from USA Custom Guitars in Wa. www.USACustomGuitars.Com Tommy is THE MAN. www.nakedbodyguitars.com "Gallery" "Page 2" "Beautiful BELLE"

You want to be careful or you may get what you wish for. A good weight Nocaster all up is 6.75-7.5lb, and anything either side starts to get into the realms of 'freak'. You've got to remember, a guitar is designed to be an approximate weight for tone and sustain, and a 3lb body is well outside the range for Nocaster tone.

I got my Tele body from http://www.guitarmill.com
It's a two piece light swamp ash... but I can't tell you how light. It's perfect to spec. Send Mario/Shannon a note. Nicest people you could ever meet. The body I received (I just ordered online, no special requests) has such nice grain I'm finishing it natural with a slight amber tint instead of the blonde I thought I wanted.
