Which Telecaster and pickup questions.

I am looking to start playing again and have had a horrible time finding a guitar until I played a Telecaster for the first time a couple days ago.
I’ve never played one because in the past I’ve used the equivalent to an Ibanez 350 for metal full time. First and for most I want to get something that feels good to me no matter what and the Telecaster is it. I’ve never felt so comfortable playing a guitar before.
My Tele question is choosing between an Ash body/total vintage neck combo from Warmoth, a Japan Fender (TL52-80TX) from Ishibashi or a Fender around the $600 mark since that’s what the Fender from Japan would cost. What I’m looking for in this response is what you think has the ‘overall’ quality advantage.
My pickup question is what bridge single coil (noise canceling type) is the most aggressive that has a coil tap for other styles besides metal.

I recommend a Muddy Waters Telecaster. Ash body, vintage neck with modern frets, great pickups, 3 brass-saddle bridge.

For Noiseless versatility, I haven't found much that could beat a Bill Lawrence L-290TLE pickup with one of his Q-filters on the tone control.

The Dimarzio Tone Zone T should fit the bill nicely for what you need. Killer tone in bucker and split mode.
