52 Tele Sticker

Has anyone had a problem with the 52 Tele's Fender Telecaster sticker peeling off, if so how did you fix this problem?

That happens to alot of people because its applied on top of the finish instead of under the finish like it is on the MIM and MIJ models.

Its actually a decal not a sticker. Fender wont sell you a new one cause they are afraid people will use them to make fake guitars with. You can take your guitar back to the dealer and they can get you a new one.

You could probably have someone spray clear lacquer over the decal to protect it but if you ever tried to sell the 52ri someone might think something was fishy cause thats about the quickest way to tell a 52ri from one of the copies of it the decal is on top just like it was in 1952.
