"late 50's" tele pickup replacement?
Hi gents. I'm planning on building a late 50's tele copy and was wondering your opinion on the most period corrct replacement pickups there are. Are SD 55 antiquity's the way to go ; or maybe Fender custom shop has a nice set? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Sean.

Two I've used...
... are the Duncan Broadcaster pickup and the Peter Florance Voodoo pickup. Neither is a late `50's pickup but I liked them both, particularly the Voodoo. I have an early `50's lap steel pickup in my Tele and the Voodoo was virtually indistinguishable. I'll probably use them on my new project Tele, an early `50's style with an mjtele finish job.
