mjtele's Esquire body...
I'm seriously considering a belly cut on the USACG body I plan to order in the next day or two. It's going straight to mjtele for a mild relic job. Did anyone happen to download the picture he posted on ebay of the Esquire body he was selling, complete with belly cut? I just checked it out over there and it isn't posted any longer. If someone has it would you please post it here? By the way, would any of you folks care to post an opinion on those cuts? I don't have a beer belly or anything but my Strat is definitely more comfortable to play. For $15.00 more it's not the cash, I don't want to commit Tele sacrilege. Thanks to all.

![]() ![]() also: Talk to MJ tele about buying that body. It seems like for some extra money, you can have a vintage tele body with the specs you want. |

Thanks, but wasn't there one...
... of the back, standing on the bass side? I'm leaning toward the cut. I was sitting down jamming last night and compared my Strat and Tele and found the Strat more comfortable but hands down the Tele is the only sound for me. Love that JV neck though. I've already had Tom @ USACG dupe it for me with a rosewood board and I'll be getting another in maple when the time comes to finish this one. Thanks for posting those pics Dave!
