Best pickguard color for new Black Telecaster?
Just ordered my first Telecaster, a left handed Black American Standard!



My question is what color pick guard looks best on a black Telecaster? I definitely want to change it from plain white as that is the color I use on my Honey Blonde Strat.

Post pics, help a new guy out!

I favour either parchment or three-ply black on a black Tele. Not a fan of Tortoiseshell.

Black with the middle ply white to give that nice contrasting line, looks much classier in a subtle way. Also, we all know from previous strands that black affects the tone of the instrument more than white, makes it a much darker sound. (Sorry! couldn't help myself)
