What colour is this?
Okay, smartass I know it's green but what sorta green?
This is one of the most attractive Teles I've ever seen. And btw if you don't have this guys YT channel bookmarked, you should. He has hundreds of the best gear demos out there. Best sound and real good playing.

Yeah, I've been watching that channel for a couple years now. I wish more YT clips were of that quality.

Interesting color and with a white single ply five hole pickguard the CS guys must have dug up some relatively obscure 50's color palette's for that one. They don't show it anywhere today as a green they ever used.
Nice sounding Tele in the hands of a guy with great chops too.

That guy can make so many different guitars sound exactly the same.
Is it his amp ? Some effect ? Has the "icky" part of Robben Ford's playing nailed... (Like that green color though

Looked into this yesterday as I was in the shop anyway.. Officially named "Celedon Green" North East Fender Rep was pushing it this week. I am waiting for a 50's Closet Classic Team Built Esquire in this color with Nocaster neck and BG1400 pup early next year. The color was mixed by one of the master builders, can find out who it was again tuesday. But think I was told Jason.. Last edited by xtrajerry; August 12th, 2012 at 07:00 PM. Reason: Brain Fart |

Greg is very good at responding to short and to the point messages (with a short and to the point answer). I'm sure he's the best person to ask.

Thanks for the replies. I've got an upcoming Tele project planned and I'd love to have that colour. I guess I could just print out a pic of the guitar and get it colour matched by computer. Those things can get pretty close nowadays.

The color reminds me of one I did a few years back, "Apple Green" from Kilz Casual Colors.
![]() ![]() ![]() Color Code "F762" on Kilz's website. Don't know if you can get it up in Canadia...
