NGD: '69 reissue Thinline MIM - SWEET!!!
Came just a few hours ago...haven't even had a chance to give her a good go, but it's just stunning (LOVE the burst!) and has a great feel. Some of the pictures suck...I think I might of been trembling with excitement. Can't wait to spend some quality time with her! Enjoy the pics...

HNGD! That's some nice grain on the front of that guitar, she's a real looker.

I have a MIM 69 Thinline, and I have been thinking about replacing the pickups because the bridge sounds pretty icepicky. Apparently, however, switching out the pots will fix this problem. That being said, here's my question. I know somebody selling stock pickups for an American 1952 Tele RI. It includes the pickups, electronics, control plate. I was curious if you guys think it's wise/possible to switch all of the electronics out but obviously not use the control plate with the thinline?

Happy New Guitar Day! Those thinlines are wonderful!

Very pretty burst. I like pearl on sunburst, very classy looking. Enjoy!
