Do any dealers in the UK sell Tele's with their weight published?

Just curious, as I've noticed that some US dealers sell them with the weight published...nice idea I think.

I've bought from www.guitarvillage.co.uk before and they specify the weights of their 'higher end' guitars, Custom Shop ones for example. I've found that guitarguitar will also weigh any guitar you're interested in and give you the info via phone or email.

I agree - it's a great idea, i'm surprised most online shops don't do it automatically. I suppose it depends how time consuming it would be for them.

Im sure most stores would weigh an instrument for you if you ask them, seems an easy move to get a sale and despite our moans to the contrary most are happy to help.

I have contacted several and they were useless .The Reverend dealer didnt know and wouldnt bother to find out .I did ask another ,forget who but a big name ,about a Fender once and they couldnt bother either .I get a rough idea of weights from the stratosphere ebay shop .He usually gives the body weight .

Aaaaha ! - back from Gib then ? :)

Martin, the thing is, do they have the guitar on the wall ?, I'm thinking that asking the importer would be hopeless as they wouldn't know specific weights until they went out to the shop.
How about one of those fishermans scales ?

Yes BJ, back and out of the Mob .... now looking for gainful employ!

To the OP, Coda Music (Stevenage) are first rate for details and weights, I talked (from Gib) to their guitarman prior my first online purchase.
