Behlen Fingerboard Oil?????

Does anyone know how to apply Behlen Fingerboard Oil and can I put nittro over it??

I assume you mean for your rosewood fretboards? Maple boards do not need anything unless unfinished. For rosewood I use best I have found, Fretboard Doctor!

I apply lem oil to my maple fretboard, is this the wrong thing to do?

If its a finished neck you are just adding oil on top of lacquer, I think lemon oil is used on fingerboards without a finish, it seeps into and conditions the open grain.

I'm not sure I understand about applying nitro over oil? I would think that anything you wanted to laquer would be thouroghly degreased and dry as possible.

As a side note, I've heard people say they use Lemon Pledge on guitars. Just remember that Pledge contains silicone and if you ever need a repair, glue doesn't adhere well to silicone. Honestly, the only thing I use on my guitars is a clean rag and in some cases I may slightly wet the rag to coax off stubborn grime...
