I think it's been posted before. It's the Saudi Oil Prince model with P T Barnum options for the disgustingly rich suckers born every minute. I'd love to see what the raw materials are actually worth compared to that $1 mil and up selling price.

To each his own. Whoever needs a golden top also needs 4 pickups, lol.
Building bridges and saddles from solid gold may not be the best idea, though ...

I'm holding out for the solid platinum top. Figure I'll get more mileage out of it.

Get it? Platinum... mileage... get it?

Oh, never mind.

How much does it weigh? And I would think gold wouldn't be a great material for nuts and saddles... would the strings just eat through it? Gold is soft.

Interestingly, it doesn't say the wiring is done with gold wire... that would be the smartest use for it...

I wonder what the body is made out of. Maybe Golden Oak with gold paint?

That is absolutely ridiculous!!!
Why? What's the point?
And 4 Alumabuckers...... Who besides some Saudi oil prince (that also happens to be into heavy metal) would buy this?
I almost feel sorry for the person who created this monster.....almost.

I wonder if the gold will wear off and look like any other guitar with gold parts that's more than a few years old - for an example, look at my Squier Strat Pro-Tone!

This guitar caters to the same potential clients as diamond-encrusted cell phones.

Ah, a bag full of "gross percussion instruments" or in the vernacular, "persuaders". A must have for those annoyingly difficult to remove parts and for serious "relicing".

Mark Zuckerberg? I don't know if he's into metal either but with around $15 billion he can probably pay to have diamond encrusted Nocasters installed if he wanted.
