Hi all, I've sent my Suire Tele body away to be painted and decided for the job to be right I should refurb the neck.
Here's where I could do with a bit of advice. I want to rub the neck down right back to the bare wood, but as it has a rosewood fret board I don't want to disturb this. I just want to take the laquer off the Maple, but I can't see how I can rub down the length of the neck with out drifting on to the edge of the finger board.

Any advice would be very welcome at this point.

Don't worry about it in fact check this thread, and you may wanna sand the fingerboard edges quite a lot…
