How much? I find no dealers listed within 500 miles from central Oklahoma. Distributors listed are from all over except the U.S..

Well it had to happen with so many builds going on. I love mine and it's the best Tele variation that fender have come up recently. I suspect they'll sell very well, assuming the pup delivers.

Ironically, I await the parts for my la cab build, as I wanted one badly but couldn't afford the MIA asking price. Oh well, at least mine will be lacquer, have a tv jones single pup, a 3 saddle cut bridge and a parchment pickguard. Funny how the neck I found on ebay is a MIM.

I agree, if the pups don't suck, this should be a good seller for fender

The Word is out......

I am I going mad.....I'm counting 22 frets ? And controls say master tone & volume, push / pull ? Maybe not 100% accurate at this stage.

Also with Fender owning Gretch I wonder if these are just re-branded Gretch Filtertrons ? I had those in my Black Falcon and I thought they were great. Cool that they didn't go with the big oversize semi look-alikes in the Gretch Electromatic guitars.

A guitar with a lot more attitude, the Cabronita Telecaster rocks a highly distinctive take on a classic design and spits out fiery, full-voiced Tele tone from two sharp new Fideli’Tron™ humbucking pickups. Other premium features include an alder body (ash on White Blonde model), comfortable modern C-shaped maple neck with a 9.5” radius and 21 medium jumbo frets, single-ply pickguard and single control knob (volume), and a string-through-body hardtail bridge with six cast saddles. Available in Three-color-Sunburst, Black and White Blonde.

Hmmm.

Specs say master volume, master tone, 3-Position Blade switch, cast saddles.
The pictures don't seem to agree with that.
Do we have another 'cut and paste' specs situation?

I shouldn't sound so critical - glad that they've come in at a more affordabe price point.
I'd like to try one out.

They have all three at Guitar Showcase in San Jose. All three are MIM. The white one is Ash and has a $50 or $75 premium. Street was $599 for the black and burst.

They all seemed pretty well put together.

I'm wondering if those are just a set of re-cased GretschBuckers....
Still, pretty sweet that they're making a nice affordable version.
Would be easy to throw a set of TVs in there and still come out pretty reasonable on price

I think I would have to opt for the White Blonde in ash

Nice!

Hope they come out with a single pup version. The only thing that concerns me is the neck. YMMV but I'm never played a MIM neck that I thought was very good.
