Do you like flat top knobs or domed?
Help!! I seem to have a thing for flat top knobs on a traditional tele layout. I agree that the domed knobs make flicking the switch a little easier but flat ones just look so great to me. Here are three of my teles with flat tops. It's a trivial question but are you a dome person or a fool for flat tops?

My most recent kick is Stylemaster knobs.
![]() Not so austere looking as the modern flats (of which I have many). I like the crisp, heavily knurled knobs Bill Callaham makes. I like the basic Fender dome knob but I expect in time there will be slavish inexpensive overseas copies of them - I don't want to get lost in that stampede. I bought some of those monster aluminum knobs from Dale Clark and I loved them for 6 months but they're too ostentatious - I'm not a flashy enough player to justify such a blingy knob. |

Domed. I really like the set on my JD Teles. I think it provides a better surface for volume swells.
