Glendale saddles on a stock bridge?

I want to try and add a little more twang to my Fender road worn Tele. It's made from a pretty punchy piece of wood (ash?) but I'm feeling like some new saddles might make things a bit more twangy.
I'm interested in Glendale Bakersfield saddles, but my question is whether the saddles would be less effective in a stock Roadworn bridge.
I'm on a tight budget so I'm trying to improve an instrument I really like for less money!

I'm in ... Glendale Twangs in a self-reliced Fender PatPending. Check it out! Sounds fine. I have a set of Rutters saddles in a PatPending (my Baja Redux) as well.

Rutters

Road Worns like to set up high.

That makes the Glendales a better choice than the enhanced Callahams.

But I would go for the Rutters saddles with their eccentric slots. I think they'd be great on a typical Road Worn Tele.

I haven't yet tried the Glendale saddles, the price kinda put me off a little. Since I recently ordered electronics (pots 'n switches) from RS Guitarworks, KY, I decided to go for their enhanced saddles, brass and aluminium. Yesterday they arrived to Sweden and were immediately installed on the Fender vintage bridge. So far, so good! Nice fit, awesome looks. My Tele is undergoing electronic refurb, but the saddles are soon to be tested.
Could be, not always necessary to go for the top-of-the-line products - these looks very good for the $10.95 they cost.

I have the Bakersfield Twang set and it's really really good. Great tone. And they fit any vintage type bridge as far as I know. Go for it !

I've got 2 sets; I forget which this image is of. Both are chromed.

I think this is the chromed stainless ones.

Fwiw, I recently added Glendale slotted steel saddles to a Wilkinson top loader.

I had to bore out the three screw holes on the Wilkinson to accept the larger diameter screws from Glendale but it worked out no problem.
