Why teles are great.
Lets make a long list of things that make the tele great.
I'll start:
The tele is virtually indestructible and the headstock wont break if it hits the ground unlike a lp

Extreme versatility...but having that while also giving up unique, signature sounds. The perfect balance of unique and generic. That pretty much covers it for me. It's about their usefulness as musical instruments. Everything else is just icing on the cake. The looks, the durability, the ease of maintenance, repair, and modification, etc.

Teles are great because they are indestructible, simply and efficient , they sound rude if you want play rude, they sound gently if you play them soft, they sound very well in fingerpicking and they sound SPANKY !!!

A tele keeps you honest... the notes come out clear... makes you a better player... i write better with one... there is just nothing i can think of that you cant do with a tele... musically that is.
