What would net me more $$?

To avoid the wrath of SWMBO and to acquire a nifty little Tele toy on hold in Desperadoville, I need to unload a neck. Question is ... which one will likely net me more dead presidents?

1. Neck from a 2008 American Standard Telecaster (22 medium jumbo frets, gloss finish), 9.5" radius, maple FB with your standard 'C' (thin) profile and sporting Fender Locking tuners. Give it an 8.5 on the condition meter.

2. Musikraft 2-pc, 21 6150 frets, 10" radius, quarter-sawn maple FB, 'C' (.83"@1st, .935"@12th), poly-finish, bone nut, and featuring Sperzel Locking tuners. Give it an 8.5 on the condition meter.

I'm thinking the AmStd because it says Fender on the headstock. But what are some views on this?

I'd say you're right about the AmStd. Logos are worth a lot nowadays, just look at clothing and perfume and other crap like that ;)

The Musikraft is probably a much better neck, but the Fender will be worth more.

That's just the way it is

Which is perfect in this case.

Well, I think this decision got made for me by putting the Musikraft on the AmStd body (nice match) and the comments above about 'best of both worlds.' So ... an American Standard body is going up for sale in the classifieds in a day or so. Tinman ... I'll drop you a note with a pic of it, in case you want first crack.

Thanks fellas ... as always, good feedback from the membership!
