Danny Gatton Bridge Assembly, Where???
I have a `52 Telecaster R.I. that I`d like to have the "Treble-Side" "Lip or Edge",removed about 7/8" or 1"
I will not do this to my "Original",but have in the past years seen "Danny Gatton Bridges",I thought Stew-Mac sold one at one time, but in their latest catalog,I don`t see it listed? I was told to get in touch with "Musiconeworkshop" and they could get one for me. I did contact Music One,(and I`m sure they are of the highest qualitiy, using the Real Fender `52 R.I. Bridges and modifing them),but at $100 US Funds, plus taxes, duties, customs excise taxes, and all the other BS!!! Taxes that Canadians are forced to pay,(I`m not sure but it could put the price up to around $180 Can Funds!!!This Price makes it very Expensive!!!! Anyone know of a less expensive Telecaster Bridge(3-Brass Saddles) that has "Lip-Edge" Removed and everything else exactly the same(For The "Pick-up Position" ad screws etc. Thanks in advance,as always for your continued help an/or suggestions!!! Giant Guitar Guy
The Giant Guitar Guy sells them.
http://hometown.aol.com/ujaxman/saddles.html The webpage displays strangely, at least on my browser, but hopefully you can get an idea. I got some compensated saddles from him and I've been very happy with them. |
